          Audrey began her artistic career over twenty years ago.  From 1987 to 1998, she was a commercial graphic designer in Germany, Illinois, and Wisconsin.  Audrey designed countless projects to include advertisement campaigns, brochures, logos, and merchandise packaging.  While living in Istanbul, Turkey, Audrey illustrated two English language children’s books about Turkey (Exploring Turkey and Folk Costumes of Turkey: A Paper Doll Book), and she began her painting career.  In 2001, she started her own graphic design firm, AB-Designs, in Colorado, and had numerous local business clients around the Denver metropolitan area.

          Audrey’s painting career took off while living in the Netherlands from 2004 to 2008.  She began painting scenes on wooden shoes and wooden ice skates, and later moved into painting on canvas.  She currently spends most of her time in Alexandria, Virginia painting children’s scenes on canvas.

          Audrey is a 1987 graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, with a degree in graphic design.  Her graphic design work, books and paintings can be seen on her website:
